Pigalle44 is built around solo guitarist and composer Reinier Voet. Together with rhythm guitarist and vocalist Jan Brouwer he founded around 1999 as Pigalle44 guitar and has been international recognition for his music.
Pigalle44 played already believe global stage, but made this summer for the first time the move to the U.S.
The band has just returned from a short tour in the United States. In the ancient occupation of Pigalle44, so with Gert Wantenaar and Simon Planting on bass. The Django Reinhardt Festival in San Fransico was the first place in the United States where Reinier Voet & Pigalle44 occurred.
Reinier next two workshops there was also an additional two concerts: Stochelo accompanied by Rosenberg (of the Rosenberg Trio) and together with new Django guitar talent from Los Angeles / Argentina Gonzalo Bergara, the top Dutch violinist Tim Kliphuis.
Pigalle44 works with professional musicians, moving from bar to action more than a jazz festival to keep standing. Therefore, the band can be used for many different occasions. From a private concert to jazz club, festival or at your party, graduation, anniversary and swinging background music.
